The aim of our family mediation campaign is to increase awareness and understanding of the use of family mediation in the process of divorce and separation - and in resolving other family problems. What you don't want to happen...

On the family mediation pages, we provide real-life stories, quizzes and simple, step-by-step guides with information and practical help on:

  • what family mediation is
  • how it works
  • how it fits in with using solicitors and the courts
  • when family mediation might be the best option
  • how to make the most of family mediation.

These pages will be frequently updated with new materials over the course of the campaign. If you would like to receive our monthly emails telling you about recent additions to the website, click on this link to find out about our email update service.

Advicenow launched its family mediation campaign on 11 May 2006. Our first guide, What is mediation?, is endorsed by the UK College of Family Mediators.
