Our Facebook page keeps you up-to-date with all the latest 'Is That Discrimination?' developments, and also highlights all the interesting stuff in the news about discrimination and equality issues. And you will have the opportunity to leave your comments on these articles too. It also provides a forum for like-minded people to share their views and chat about any discrimination and equality issues that they are facing.
If you do decide to follow us on Facebook, you are pledging your support for our campaign, and agreeing with our aims - we believe in prevention rather than cure, and becoming our fan means you do too! Improving people’s capacity to deal with discrimination is vital – it will stop discrimination in its tracks. If more people have the confidence and skills to deal with discrimination as it comes up, then more often than not it can be dealt with before it gets out of hand. Becoming a fan means that you believe in what we stand for and want to help spread the word on preventing discrimination.
If you do decide to become a fan, first, if you don’t already have one, you’ll need to set-up a Facebook profile. Once you have a profile and you have chosen to become our fan, then the 'Is That Discrimination?' page will be listed in your info tab, along with any other pages that you are a fan of. You will also receive friendly updates and some topical information from us in you news feed. If you are worried about other fans being able to see your profile, you can protect your information by changing your privacy settings – just click on the ‘account’ tab at the top of the page.
