How we can help you with research and evaluation projects

Research and evaluation is at the heart of everything we do. Law for Life’s research and evaluation programmes seek to deepen our understanding of legal need and the impact of different access to justice interventions.

We have worked with some of the UK’s leading researchers of legal need to uncover levels of legal capability across different cohorts and identify effective methods to improve them.

We enthusiastically support sharing the findings across the sector so that we can all learn from each others successes and failures. We use the Public Legal Education Evaluation Framework, developed with the Personal Finance Research Centre at the University of Bristol, and funded by the Ministry of Justice.

We can help any organisation to develop or improve the effectiveness of its public legal education, either by aiding with the design of research and evaluation work, or by undertaking it for them.

What it will cost?

We offer up to a half day of consultancy on any PLE free free of charge and with no strings attached. After that we find it best to offer support based on what the initial consultancy, and our discussions bring to light. We try to be as flexible as possible about pricing, particularly for smaller organisations and startups.
