The rules you have to follow when you are on Licence (PDF)

Anyone that has served a prison sentence of 12 months or more will be given a Probation Officer when they leave prison. Apply for parole if you're a young offender

You might be able to get parole as a young offender if you’re a young adult (18 to 21) or a juvenile (under 18). Parole means you can leave prison or be released from custody before the end of your sentence, but you’ll be kept under supervision.
