Three New Trustees Appointed

Law for Life is pleased to announce the appointment of three new trustees to its Board: Jennifer Dingley, Rohini Jana and Savita Narain.

All three bring a wealth of experience and knowledge in the areas of public legal education, access to justice, technology and community development.

Jennifer Dingley, Senior Product Manager for Citizens Advice has a deep understanding of the complexity of the legal system and the inequity in access to legal information and support. Jennifer's experience leading technology teams at Amazon and Citizens Advice will be valuable in supporting Law for Life's digital and ecommerce strategies

Rohini Jana, Head of Parliamentary Affairs with the Legal Aid Practitioners Group, has been part of the advice and community sector for the past eight years. Her background in finance law in the City has given her a unique perspective on the importance of access to justice and the role of public legal education in achieving this.

Savita Narain, Advice Service Director at Family Rights Group, has worked for over 20 years in the not-for-profit sector, aspiring for a more equal society where discrimination and disadvantage are no longer accepted and can be effectively challenged. Her partnership with Advicenow has given her a strong appreciation of the importance of public legal education in empowering people to utilise and enforce their legal rights.

"We are delighted to welcome three such excellent trustees to our Board. We know from the last few years’ experience through the pandemic and now with the cost of living crisis, how important it is to have experience of strong community links, wider partnerships and expertise in using technology to improve people’s access to justice"
