Help to deal with family problems

Get affordable advice about your case during lockdown- the solicitors on our panel are available for appointments via Skype, Facetime, WhatsApp, or the phone. See Getting affordable advice from a family solicitor via Advicenow

If you are going through a difficult time with your family, we are here to support you through it. We recognise the hard reality that getting much help from a solicitor is financially difficult or impossible for many people. And so, we aim to help you with the knowledge, skills and confidence that you need to navigate your way through, to a happier future.

Whether you are trying to sort out disagreements over the children, are just beginning to think about separating or divorcing, or are much further in to the process, we have guides to help you work out what to do, reduce the stress, and save you money. We have help for victims of domestic violence who cannot access other help to apply for an injunction and/or an occupation order. If you are facing going to a court about a family issue, see Going to the family court.

We also have help for parents who have been contacted by Children's Services  about the children they care for. This guide is particularly aimed at Roma parents, but is helpful for everyone.

Can you help us please? We want to hear from people who are in process of divorcing to understand what they know about pensions. We want to hear from you whether you are doing anything about your pension or not and no matter how much/little you know. It will help us produce a new guide.
