This workshop will help you build the legal knowledge and capacity to use the Domestic Abuse Act 2021 to secure safe accommodation for survivors of domestic abuse. We will look at

• the main provisions of the Act, particularly:
• updated definition of domestic abuse,
• the limitations of the Act,
• threshold of evidence around domestic abuse, and
• ways to challenge unreasonable delays in securing accommodation.

The workshop is delivered in collaboration with the Public Interest Law Centre.
