The DWP likes to warn people that 'your award could go down as well as up'. While technically true, this is very unlikely if they have just agreed that you do meet the criteria. Do not let it put you off. You should ask for a mandatory reconsideration. Use the WCA mandatory reconsideration letter tool to increase your chances of winning. If it is unsuccessful, you should appeal.
