Should you be getting more benefits?

If you have applied for a benefit but been told you are not entitled within the last 13 months, consider asking for a mandatory reconsideration of that decision. See Advicenow's free tools and guides to support you to explain why the decision was wrong really well. 

If you have been given a Universal Credit sanction, you should challenge the decsion - even if it was a while ago. You can ask for the decision to be reconsidered no matter how long you got it. If the sanction is overturned, you get your money back and if you are given a sanction again it won't be for even longer.
