Going to the family court

If you are going to court (or considering it) to sort out a family law problem, like divorce or where the children should live, we want to help. We know that if you cannot get legal aid and cannot afford the help of a solicitor it is very stressful and difficult. Our guides help you find your way confidently through the process, and aim to make it more manageable for you. We now also provide a panel of solicitors offering help at a low-cost, fixed fee for just the most complicated bits of child arrangements or financial cases. We link to the best information from other organisations, and we also highlight where you may be able to get free advice and support to deal with your case.
